Methodology and independence
One grid for every prop firm, data checked at the source, a score that is calculated and never typed by hand. Here is everything, including how the site is funded.
Five criteria, fixed weights
The final score is the weighted average of these five criteria. The weights are the same for every firm and never change because of a partnership.
- Payouts30 %
Verified payout volume, real delays, feedback from funded traders.
- Rules25 %
Drawdown, consistency rule, trading restrictions and fine-print traps.
- Price20 %
Real cost of the challenge, activation fees, refunds and usual promotions.
- Support15 %
Responsiveness, quality of answers and clarity of documentation.
- Reputation10 %
Track record, team transparency and community reviews.
- Score = (payouts × 30 + rules × 25 + price × 20 + support × 15 + reputation × 10) ÷ 100, rounded to one decimal.
- The score is never typed by hand: it is recalculated every time the site is updated.
- Brokers: simple average of 5 criteria (fees, regulation, platforms, markets, experience). Tools: average of 4 criteria (price, features, ease of use, prop firm compatibility).
How the 59 scores are spread
A score of 9 or more is rare: it takes excellence on both payouts and rules.

How we make money
Today
Nothing. No prop firm, broker or tool pays us. No link on the site is an affiliate link, no promo code is paid and no ads are shown.
Later: partner links
A partner (affiliate) link lets a firm pay us a commission if you buy a challenge after clicking, at no extra cost to you. If there are any, each will be labelled “partner link” next to the button.
What will not change
The score. It comes from the formula above, which has no “partner” box. A poorly rated partner stays poorly rated; a well rated non-partner stays well rated.
Who checks
YourFunding is run by Kyro, a funded prop firm trader. He checks every rule on the official website before publishing it.
What we do
- Rate every firm with the same grid
- Clearly label any affiliate link if there ever is one
- Fix any information as soon as it is reported
What we never do
- Sell a score or a ranking position
- Hide a bad score from a partner
- Publish a review without checking it
Outdated information?
Rules change fast. Report it: it is checked, fixed and logged in the corrections log.
Frequently asked questions
How is the YourFunding score calculated?
It is the weighted average of 5 criteria scored out of 10: payouts 30%, rules 25%, price 20%, support 15%, reputation 10%.
Can a prop firm pay to rank higher?
No. No score or spot is for sale, and a bad score is never hidden from a partner.
Where does the data come from?
From firms' official websites (terms, prices, rules), published payouts, verified reviews and market monitoring, cross-checked before publishing.
Is YourFunding funded by prop firms?
No. Today, no prop firm, broker or tool funds YourFunding, and no link is an affiliate link. If that ever changes, it will be clearly labelled, with no effect on scores.
